Nothing ruins a big, beautiful, healthy salad more than added chemicals, and inflammatory oils. Did you know that conventional store-bought salad dressing often has harmful preservatives, added sugar, artificial flavors, and colors, and often highly inflammatory oils in them?! All of these ingredients push you away from optimal health. Do yourself a HUGE favor and start making your own. It is SO much easier than you think and your body will thank you!

Here are six great reasons why you should make your salad dressing.

  1. You know it’s fresh, with fresh ingredients.
  2. It has real ingredients that you control. No frankenfood ingredients.
  3. You avoid the additives such as gums, thickeners, colors, preservatives, and flavors.
  4. Making your own tastes SO much better!!!
  5. Its cheaper.
  6. It’s super duper easy, and once you start you will never go back to the store bought ones.

Cooking with Essential Oils

Did you know you can cook with essential oils?! They are a plants immune system harvested and are 50-70x more potent than their herb counterpart so a little goes a long way. I have used lime essential oil in guacamole when I didn’t have limes, peppermint in brownies,  cinnamon bark in coffee, and love a drop of wild orange or tangerine in a glass of white wine on a hot day!! Have you explored cooking with essential oils?! I have attached an ebook below for you with all kinds of recipes from smoothies, snacks, baking, and even salad dressing recipes. Enjoy!
